Easy Christmas Dessert - Cookie, Yoghurt & Berry Parfait

INGREDIENTS:

  • 10-12 crushed chocolate cookies

  • 1.5 cups Village Dairy Premium Pot Set Natural Yoghurt

  • 1.5 cups cream cheese

  • 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries

  • Fruit jelly (strawberry/raspberry/blueberry)

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 5 tablespoons maple syrup

  • Mint leaves and chocolate chips for garnish (optional)


METHOD:

  1. Crush the cookies into small and crumbly pieces.

  2. Using an electric mixer, beat the Village Dairy Premium Pot Set Natural Yoghurt, cream cheese, vanilla extract and maple syrup until you achieve a smooth texture.

  3. To plate, gather a set of dessert jars or glasses and start layering. Spoon a layer of crushed cookies at the bottom, followed by a layer of the yoghurt mixture, a tablespoon of fruit jelly, another layer of crushed cookies and the yoghurt mixture, and top it off with some frozen berries.

  4. Refrigerate for about an hour, garnish with some fresh mint leaves and chocolate chips (optional) and serve chilled!
