Turkey Souvlaki with Garlic & Yoghurt Sauce

8 pita pockets/flat breads
4 ground turkey burgers/patties
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup sliced cucumber halves
1/4 cup cherry tomato halves
1/4 cup rocket leaves
1/4 cup onion ring halves
Salt and pepper to taste
Slice the turkey burgers into strips and mix well with cumin and oregano. Add salt and pepper if necessary.
In a saucepan or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the seasoned turkey burgers and cook for about 5 minutes until cooked through.
In a small bowl, mix in the Village Dairy Middle Eastern Style Natural Pot Set Yoghurt, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
To serve, arrange the pita pockets on plates and place a layer of rocket leaves on top. Divide the turkey strips equally on to each pita pocket. Top them off with the cucumber, tomato and onion. Spoon the yoghurt sauce over each, and serve! Serving tip: Tie up each pita pocket with a string to keep the shape and enhance the festive vibe!
