Village Dairy’s New Organic Yoghurt
We are very excited to announce that our brand new Organic Yoghurt Pot Sets are nearly here. As well as our new yoghurt, this is a very first look at our new packaging that will be on the supermarket shelves very soon!
We are very passionate about producing and sourcing the best possible yoghurt that carry no negative effects to our environment or customers. Our yoghurt is 100% pasture based all year around and is produced on the Tarago Valley Organic Dairy in the Eastern District of Victoria. Dairy products from pasture fed cows (compared to grain fed) are higher in Beta carotene, vitamin E, Conjugated Linoleic Acid and Omega 3. With having a small herd of cattle on a pasture fed diet there is also no need for antibiotics. If a problem does arrive there are many natural remedies that work. Without this added stress onto the animals the cows experience less metabolic issues, which results in having happier cows. All of the male calves (bobby calves) are raised with the heifer calves and are grown out to maturity as we believe every creature is deserving of a life.
Our yoghurt is made up of 96% fresh milk and has no added sugar, nothing artificial and is non homogenised which makes for a delicious creamy layer. Non homogenised yoghurt also tastes better and yoghurt that is from grass-fed cows is a quality product that deserves to be processed as little as possible. Our Organic yoghurt also contains around 50% more beneficial omega 3 fatty acids than conventionally produced products. Our product is also gluten and gelatin free and is suitable for vegetarians.
