Yoghurt Mousse


  • 200g good quality dark chocolate, chopped

  • 200ml milk

  • ¼ cup soft brown sugar, to taste

  • 500g Village Yoghurt Greek Style yogurt

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Chocolate flakes / cocoa nibs


  1. Place chocolate, milk and sugar in a microwave safe bowl and cook on Medium (50%) for 4 minutes, or until chocolate has melted.

  2. Remove and stir well until smooth. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.

  3. Whisk yogurt in a large bowl for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Stir the cooled chocolate mixture into yogurt until well combined. Add vanilla and adjust sweetness if desired.

  5. Divide mixture between 4-6 glasses or ramekins and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  6. Remove mousses from fridge, garnish with fresh raspberries and almonds and serve.
